Until next time!
Every year leaders from across the youth leadership, queer arts, and theatre education fields come together for a weekend-long event hosted by the Pride Youth Theater Alliance. The Queer Youth Theater Conference is open to all directors, artists, educators, and activists you envision a world where all artistic, cultural, and human service organizations have safe, sustainable spaces for queer and allied youth. This professional development and movement-building event is your opportunity to exchange ideas, establish best practices, and build new partnerships with leaders from across the U.S. and Canada.
The PYTA Annual Conference is a time to come together as a community of practitioners to build relationships, share work and philosophy, and challenge each other and ourselves to continue growing as individuals and as a field. Our collective work is a reflection of our individual commitments to root our lives in the pursuit of justice and liberation. We hope you join us in Ann Arbor, MI for the 8th Annual Pride Youth Theater Alliance, hosted by the Neutral Zone.

ABOUT The Neutral Zone
310 E Washington St
Ann Arbor, MI 48104
The Neutral Zone is a diverse, youth-driven teen center dedicated to promoting personal growth through artistic expression, community leadership and the exchange of ideas. In 1998, a group of Ann Arbor teens gathered to discuss the need for a place where teens could congregate after school and on weekends. From the very beginning, they felt this place should be more than just a hangout; that is could be a safe place to make new friends, mix with youth from different backgrounds, explore new ideas, learn new skills and do it all in a setting that was teen friendly and teen driven. Since that beginning, the Neutral Zone has taken on lots of youth-driven initiatives including Riot Youth, a leadership program that serves LGBTQ youth and their allies to provide an avenue for social support and social activism.
