The Door (New York, NY)

Executive Director, Julie Shapiro, testified at a hearing in front of the House of Representatives Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Resources. The subject of the hearing was “Jobs and Opportunity: Employer Perspectives on the Jobs Gap”. She discussed The Door's program "This Way Ahead" which provides work experience for young folks.

June 9th: Held a hike with civic training in indigenous methods of organizing
